I'm Jon P. and I'm obliged to say that I'm not, in fact, a freakishly large rat man in real life.
I'm kind of a jack of all trades when it comes to all sorts of media, animation, art, music, and even building the very site you see here.
90% of the time I'd be on the PC working on art pieces and animations in my room, sometimes making music too, I also really like video games.
I grew up watching mostly cartoons and playing video games, drawing and doodling during classes from elementary up to high school. I always found computers very fascinating, just all the types things you can do with one, especially with art.
My fascination for animation started off with Flipnote Studio on the original Nintendo DSi, when I first got it one 2009 Christmas evening. And when you combine video games with art, of course I'm gonna be interested. Of course my old Flipnote animations were kinda crap, I was just a kid who only knew how to draw "comics" at the time. As I got older though, the online service at the time pretty much served as a pool of inspiration for what I could do. Of course, I didn't have an account for it at the time, but it didn't stop me from creating Flipnotes to share with friends and family IRL. (those old flipnotes were still kinda crap, but they were looking better at the very least!)
I still occasionally dip my pen into animating on what's basically 16+ year old hardware by this point, (and when i do, well, see for yourself.)
Influences & Inspirations
My influences for art comes from the retro-futurism of the
early-mid 2000's, video games like Jet Set Radio, and 90's
cartoons during the era of creator-driven toons.

talking to my friends online who have common interests
(i.e. games, movies, TV shows, music, favorite characters, drawing our own characters, drawing each other characters, watching videos, messing around, you know how it goes)
-
going to antique stores/toy shows
dad likes to bring me over to whatever antique shops he finds, he's usually looking for hot wheels, model cars and old signs, i'm usually looking for old games and old plushes & toys of my favorite characters. (collection kind of runs in the family.)

furries
or Funny Animals if you've been in the scene long enough

I can also be sort of a neat-freak, so i like to organize my games, and other things by color, size, and alphabetically. did i mention my autism?
